The Loss of a Grooming Industry Star                             Return to NDGAA

In Loving Memory...

PEGGY HARRIS

PEGGY HARRIS:  It is with very deep sadness that we are sending out this notice to let everyone know about the tragic loss of our dear friend and colleague Peggy Harris.  Peggy passed away from injuries sustained due to a motor vehicle accident on Saturday, July 10th, in Taylor County Georgia.  She was a trusted and devoted member of the NDGAA family as well as the pet grooming industry and will be painfully missed by many.

Many of you have been emailing with questions about what the family needs right now.  After speaking with Peggys family they have expressed the following needs.  Please respond as your heart directs and as always, we are eternally grateful for the generous support and love this wonderful industry of ours displays to each other in trying times like this.   The family has asked that NDGAA create a fund to collect monetary contributions to help pay the following expenses.   As Peggy had no life insurance,  there are funeral costs and attorney fees.

Peggy's 9 German Wirehaired Pointers are looking for good homes.  They do not have papers and are 4 years old.  For inquiries:  robey_patrick@bah.com  or Floridasports@aol.com  if you can give one or more of these dogs a good home.  Also, please contact: Lisa Fifield @ 334-272-5416 home or 334-799-3066 cell or hickorygrove@knology.net if you can provide one or more of Peggy's dogs with a permanent and good home.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 17th.  Also please send your condolences and cards to Peggy's mom, I know she would love to hear from Peggy's many friends.  Here is her info:   Geraldine Blake, 11 Rusk Dr., Phenix City, AL 36870.    If you would like to send monetary contributions, please make check out to NDGAA and mail to:

NDGAA, Inc.
P.O. Box 101
Clark, PA  16113

Please make sure to write: Peggy Harris Fund
in the memo area! We will provide the family with a list of contributors.

With much appreciation,
